What Treatment Programs are Available at Zenith Academy?
At Zenith Academy, we offer a range of treatment programs tailored to meet each patient’s needs. Our main three treatment programs include Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility (BHIF) program for adolescent males, Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility (BHIF) program for adolescent females, and Psychiatric Stabilization Unit. The severity of a teen’s mental health challenges will determine the treatment program best suited for their unique needs.
What is a Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility (BHIF)?
This level of care is often designed for longer lengths of stay with intensive treatment in a secure environment. Our Female 31-Bed Program offers intensive mental and behavioral health support, including a treatment track for those who have been sex trafficked. Our compassionate staff provides individual therapy, group counseling, expressive arts, and evidence-based modalities for growth, healing, and recovery in a nurturing and empowering environment. Our Male 34-Bed Program offers specialized care for teen boys, providing a supportive and structured environment where young men can find the tools they need for their healing journey. Through individual counseling, group therapy, recreational activities, and skill-building exercises, we strive to empower young men to overcome challenges, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build strong foundations for their futures.
What is the Difference Between a Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility (BHIF) and a Psychiatric Stabilization Unit?
The main difference between our BHIF program and our Psychiatric Stabilization program is the severity and length of treatment. In our Psychiatric Stabilization Unit, clients typically attend treatment for 7-10 days, whereas our BHIF program typically lasts 30 days or more. Contact our team to determine which treatment program best meets your child’s needs.
